Working with Sacred Geometry

Sacred geometry is an ancient science that explores and explains the energy patterns that create and unify all things. It reveals the precise way that the energy of creation organizes itself. It is a catch-all term used to describe the religious, philosophical symbols, and spiritual beliefs that have evolved around geometry in various cultures throughout human history.

From the spirals in a sea shell to the proportional lines in the Star of David, symbols and patterns are found everywhere. Think of the helix of our DNA, the beauty of a snowflake or ice crystal, the repeated symmetrical points of a pine cone or flower, and the whirling of a galaxy of stars and you have examples of sacred geometry that reminds us of how intricately intelligent all of creation is. All life forms emerge out of timeless geometric codes. But nature isn’t the only place you will find sacred geometry that reconnects us to sacred paths. Notice the architecture in churches, tabernacles, temples, mosques, public buildings, religious monuments, crop circles, sacred groves, and religious art.

Numbers have symbolic meanings other than their ordinary use for counting. Geometric shapes such as circles, triangles, squares, hexagons, polygons, etc. can be repeated to create coded art that represents mystical and other-world realities. Viewing and contemplating these codes offers us a glimpse into the inner workings of the universal mind and the universe itself.
