A Shift toward Non-Violence

While writing my book, Shifting into Purer Consciousness ~ Integrating Spiritual Transformation with the Human Experience, I had a face-to-face encounter with my own health and longevity and how I was treating my body and the Earth.
My acidic diet had to change because it was destroying my body, negatively affecting my emotions, and interfering with my ability to receive clear spiritual guidance. Giving up meat was easy after listening to Dr. Will Tuttle’s audio book, The World Peace Diet. After overcoming severe adrenal fatigue, I could not return to the way I was eating before; and thankfully, the grace to make this permanent shift has been there every step of the way. I would not have been able to consistently maintain a plant-based, sugar-free, gluten-free eating plan prior to this shift. But that’s only half the reason. After learning how much animals suffer at the hands of humans, who think they must eat animals in order to survive, I could not contribute to the violence that brings a piece of meat to the dinner plate.
My friend, Lynn Serafinn, had her own non-violent epiphany about 35 years ago. She’s been a vegetarian for 35 years. She says it’s more than just food, although food is integral to our spiritual health; it’s about the lifestyle and the way we communicate. She has written a book, The 7 Graces of Marketing: how to heal humanity and the planet by changing the way we sell (see the Youtube video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EsBSDzTmgvM) that highlights the violence that is happening in business through competition, scarcity, manipulation, over consumption, and being wasteful. These things are creating violence, not much on people, but on the planet and on animals that must give up their homes and environment so we can indulge. Not only is this very irresponsible, it’s counterproductive to world peace. I see this changing. We as a human race are changing for the better.

Yvonne Perry is an empath coach, metaphysical teacher, spiritual author, and the host of We Are One in Spirit Podcast. In 2011, she published her book, Whose Stuff Is This? Finding Freedom of the Thoughts, Feelings, and Energy of Those Around You, in which she candidly discussed how we pick up energy around us, and how it affects us. It teaches how to identify our own energy versus the energy of people around us. Yvonne has been on a rapid consciousness journey this past year and hence the book she has just written, Shifting into Purer Consciousness ~ Integrating Spiritual Transformation with the Human Experience.

Thanks for leaving a comment. Dr. Will Tuttle’s book, The World Peace Diet, is all about non-violence, not just to animals but humans and ourselves. I think you would enjoy it.http://worldpeacediet.org/
